Meet OUR PROUD OWNER, Kevin Hughes:

I was born on December 23, 1971, and I'm Hughes Mechanical LLC's proud owner and operator. My family background is in carpentry, but my real passion sparked while helping my grandfather with his rental properties. It was there I became fascinated with plumbing and heating systems. After high school, I ventured into appliance repair school, eventually steering my career toward apartment maintenance. I stood out as the go-to person for repairing and replacing tub and shower valves and boiler systems, amassing vast experience and knowledge.

I transitioned to working full-time as a plumber at Coffman and Company, where I was fortunate to be mentored by some fantastic plumbers. However, over time, plumbing lost its appeal for me; the cramped spaces of bathroom and kitchen cabinets became less inviting. That's when I pivoted to the heating and air conditioning sector. Not only did I continue working on water heaters and boilers, but I also expanded my skills to include repairing and servicing furnaces and AC systems. I quickly grasped the importance of well-designed systems and immersed myself in numerous training courses various manufacturers offer.

My journey took me into the commercial HVAC field for seven years, where I deepened my knowledge by working on more complex equipment. Despite this extensive experience, I discovered my greatest satisfaction was assisting residential customers with their heating and cooling issues. This realization ultimately led me to where I am today, dedicated to helping people enhance their home comfort.
